Mathwire.com is designed to provide activities and appropriate worksheets for teachers to use in their classrooms. All activities and worksheets support the constructivist approach to learning mathematics and the NCTM Standards.

National Gallery of Art Kids
This site has some wonderful interactive art activities that will help children learn about different artists and different styles of art.

Internet4ClassroomsThe Internet4Classrooms (i4C) site is a web portal for teachers. There are a ton of links to use with students and modules to help practice with various software programs.

Candlelight Stories
Candlelight stories has stories in written form, in audio, and some video. There are also some games to play. This site is probably more suitable for slightly older chilren.

This site was recommended by Barbara Antonetti. Teachers.net has many useful teacher resources including lesson plans, chatrooms, and a monthly article written by classroom management gurus, Harry and Rosemary Wong.

Netsmartz
NetSmartz® is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® and Boys & Girls Clubs of America for children aged 5 to 17, parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement that uses age-appropriate, 3-D activities to teach children how to stay safer on the Internet. The goal of the NetSmartz Workshop is to extend the safety awareness of children to prevent victimization and increase self-confidence whenever they go online.

Ben's Guide to Government for Kids
Ben’s Guide to U.S. Government for Kids is the educational component of GPO Access, the Government Printing Office’s (GPO) free online service of official Government information from all three branches of the U.S. Government. Ben’s Guide provides information and activities specifically tailored for educators, parents, and students in K-12. These resources can help teach about our government and how it works. They can also teach about the primary source materials on GPO Access, and how citizens can use GPO Access in carrying out their civic responsibilities.
